Terms of Service

By creating an account or otherwise using Glaux, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Glaux. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet that age and that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, either on your own behalf or on behalf of an organization you represent.

Glaux is a career-coaching application that generates personalized guidance using AI. It helps you explore career paths, build roadmaps, and reflect on monthly progress.

Glaux is not a licensed career counselor, financial advisor, recruiter, therapist, or legal professional. The AI output is informational guidance, not professional advice. Decisions about your career, finances, health, education, or legal matters are yours to make — and you are responsible for verifying anything the app suggests before acting on it.

You may hold one account per person. Keep your password and authentication methods private. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, whether you authorized it or not. Notify us at support@getglaux.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract content from the service, including AI responses generated for you.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app or our prompts.
• Use Glaux output to train, fine-tune, or evaluate a competing AI model or coaching product.
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, subscription tiers, or security measures.
• Use the service to impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any individual or entity.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the service without our written permission.

Glaux offers a Free tier and a Pro tier. The Free tier gives you an introduction to the service at no cost. Pro unlocks the full feature set — roadmap, monthly check-ins, the tool suite, comparison, pivot, and more — for US$12 per month.

Pro subscriptions are billed by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, on the web. Your subscription renews automatically each month on the date of original purchase, at the then-current price, until you cancel.

To cancel: sign in on the web and visit getglaux.com/settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain Pro access until then. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.

We may change pricing or the features included in each tier. Material changes affecting active subscribers will be announced at least thirty days in advance by email and by notice in the app. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.

At present, all paid subscriptions originate on the web. In-app purchases through Apple or Google are not yet supported; when they are, this section will be updated accordingly.

The AI responses Glaux generates may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or fabricated (commonly called "hallucinations"). They reflect statistical patterns in training data — not verified truth and not personalized professional judgment.

You agree not to rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, immigration, safety-critical, or other consequential decisions without independently verifying it with a qualified professional. We are not responsible for outcomes that result from acting on AI-generated content.

You retain ownership of the content you submit — your reflections, check-ins, profile answers, clipped insights, and any other text you write inside Glaux.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and display this content solely to operate the service for you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content you provide and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

The Glaux name, logo, visual design, brand language, prompts, code, and all other materials we create are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, rebrand, redistribute, or create derivative works from them without our prior written permission.

You may delete your account at any time. On mobile: Settings → Delete account. On the web: email support@getglaux.com from the address on your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to cure the issue first.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — your content license to past data we've already used, our IP ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and the governing-law clause — will survive.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error- free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate, useful, or free of bias.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$50.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or career outcomes — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those places, the limits apply only to the extent permitted.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law, (b) content you submit, or (c) your violation of a third party's rights. We will tell you promptly about any claim covered by this section and cooperate reasonably in its defense.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

If you are a consumer resident outside Argentina, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence may still apply to you despite this choice of law and forum.

We may update these terms over time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, send a notice to the email on your account. Continued use of Glaux after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, delete your account before they take effect.
